Katherine Jenkins received her Bachelor of Science from Long Island University Post in 2020 and obtained her J.D. from Cardozo Law School in 2023. In law school, she was a member of the International and Comparative Law Review. Her note, The Hague Convention on International Parental Kidnapping: Still the Best Hope for Children? was published in the Journal’s 6th Volume in Spring of 2023. Ms. Jenkins was also a student intern at the Bet Tzedek Civil Litigation Clinic, where she advocated on behalf of elderly and disabled individuals.
Prior to joining Sokoloff Stern, Ms. Jenkins was a summer associate at another law firm, where she handled employment discrimination and retaliation matters. Ms. Jenkins was also a 2023 Pro Bono Scholar, and spent her last law school semester working full-time at the New York County Lawyers Association. Aa a Pro Bono Scholar, she represented defendants in consumer debt cases in New York State Civil Court, and represented clients in State Central Registry Fair Hearings
