Janea Arnold earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University at Albany in 2022 and her J.D. from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2026. 

In law school, she served as a student attorney for Hofstra Law’s Defender Clinic, where she represented indigent clients charged with low-level offenses in the Nassau County District Court. She also served as a member of the Black Law Student Association. Prior to joining Sokoloff Stern, Ms. Arnold worked at the Queens District Attorney’s Office as a Trial Prep Assistant and as a paralegal specializing in civil litigation, personal injury, and Child Victims Act matters.
