Brian Sokoloff will speak at the annual meeting of the County Attorneys Association of the State of New York in Cooperstown, NY in May 2026. He will discuss First Amendment issues and claims that counties typically face. It will be his second talk to the group. In 2025, Brian lectured to the organization about the building blocks of a 42 U.S.C. § 1983 civil rights case, defenses to avert liability, and strategies for managing problematic cases.
