Anna Teresita A. Marcelo


Teri Marcelo is a litigation and arbitration attorney qualified to practice law in the Philippines and in New York. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology (Honors) and Juris Doctor from the Ateneo de Manila University, graduating with Second Honors and ranking number 3 in her class. She acquired her Master of Laws from Harvard Law School in 2022, where she was a Senior Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy.

Prior to joining Sokoloff Stern, Ms. Marcelo served as a law clerk to Senior Associate Justice Antonio T. Carpio and Associate Justice Amy C. Lazaro-Javier of the Supreme Court of the Philippines. At the Supreme Court, she drafted decisions, resolutions, and opinions relating to anti-corruption and rule of law issues, public international law controversies, and domestic arbitration disputes. She thereafter worked as an associate at a New York City boutique law firm, where she represented clients in highly complex state and federal proceedings concerning a broad range of criminal defense cases, commercial and civil disputes, intellectual property protection and enforcement matters, tort actions, and labor and employment controversies.
